What We Do : Property Development

Urban Contractors Pty Ltd is continuing its growth in the building side of the operations including the completion of "The Pastures" building; purchasing blocks of land at Gundaroo, Gunning and Malua Bay, construction of a new office for Urban, new Office for Easycare Landscape and a new premises for Bison Products.

The development of the new office will create more opportunities to educate more of the staff in project management, computer skills and other in house training. As well as create a more professional approach to tendering and communication between all parties before starting the projects.

We are also in the process of starting a new branch of Urban in the Newcastle area, but instead of just going there to construct one project, we are going to help families to start a new future there which will create more opportunities for others who just want to go for a short time. This is the first one of 12 offices we plan to create over the next 20 years, with Canberra remaining the head office. We will try and develop networking business with our structure e.g. Stonehenge landscape yards, Liquid boot etc. This will create career paths for all our families as we grow into a diversified business structure.

In this time of expansion we will create a board of management to oversee opportunities before they become realistic project.
